Front Crawl Swimming Drills | Towfloat

The Towfloat drill engages the core so the hips have to work harder to stay ‘up’ while isolating the arms to focus on technique. Throughout this drill you will be ‘towing’ a float between your ankles.

Place a pull buoy between your ankles, whilst swimming with front crawl arms.

Engage your core to prevent your body position from sagging.

Mix the two pull buoy positions alternating between your ankles and your thighs for the best results.
